NEPAL III
Latent structural heart disease accounts for a substantial proportion of adverse pregnancy outcomes in low-resource settings. In the NEPAL III trial, we investigate whether echocardiographic screening of expectant mothers in a region with an endemic pattern of rheumatic heart disease improves pregnancy outcomes.
